Digital Health Content Writer (SEO)

About PracticeBeatPracticeBeat helps independent medical practices thrive by improving their visibility, patient access, and reputation online. We are scaling rapidly and need a full-time writer who can help us stay ahead of digital disruptors with powerful, research-driven content.

Role Overview

We're hiring a full-time writer with investigative journalism experience, deep SEO knowledge, and the drive to produce 2+ impactful articles per day. You will collaborate directly with the CEO and other teams to create content that ranks, converts, and drives performance.

What You'll Do

- Write and publish 2+ SEO-optimized articles per day for PracticeBeat's content engine.
- Attend internal team sessions to extract compelling narratives and use cases.
- Conduct obsessive competitor research, build content playbooks, and reverse-engineer what's ranking — then beat it.
- Interview subject matter experts (SMEs), internal teams, and occasionally customers to produce authoritative, well-sourced content.
- Surface valuable insights and position us as thought leaders in digital health.
- Stay current on search algorithm changes, keyword trends, and digital health developments.





Requirements

- Background in investigative journalism, feature writing, or in-depth reporting.
- Proven experience writing for SEO, ideally in medical, health, or SaaS industries.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills (C1 or higher).
- Available to attend meetings and collaborate during US business hours.
- Comfortable producing high-volume content under deadline.
- Curious, analytical, data-driven mindset.

Bonus

- Experience in medical writing, nursing, public health, or digital health content.
- Proficiency with tools like Semrush, Surfer SEO, Clearscope, or Ahrefs.
- Experience building or contributing to a content strategy playbook or editorial calendar.
- A portfolio of top-ranking articles or journalistic investigations.
