We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is critical to the success of our litigation practice, providing comprehensive support to our Litigation Attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.

Position Overview

The Litigation Paralegal serves as the operational backbone of the Litigation Department, managing case progression from litigation intake through resolution or trial. This position requires strong knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple active cases and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Litigation Case Management

- Transition cases from pre-litigation into active litigation.
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and task management within Filevine.
- Monitor court orders, scheduling deadlines, and litigation milestones.
- Conduct client communications and case status updates.

Discovery & Case Development

- Prepare, organize, and manage interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and supplemental discovery.
- Coordinate responses and document production with clients and attorneys.
- Obtain and organize evidence, medical records, police reports, witness statements, photographs, surveillance footage, and other case materials.
- Track subpoenas and third-party records requests.

Depositions & CMEs

- Schedule and coordinate depositions, court reporters, videographers, interpreters, and remote appearances.




- Prepare deposition exhibits and notebooks.
- Coordinate Compulsory Medical Examinations (CMEs/IMEs), including client preparation and logistics.

Mediation & Settlement Support

- Prepare comprehensive medical summaries and Med Charts.
- Verify medical balances, liens, Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance liens, and funding obligations.
- Coordinate mediation scheduling and preparation.
- Assist with settlement documentation, releases, dismissals, and case closure procedures.

Qualifications
Required

- Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a personal injury law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, litigation deadlines, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Experience handling motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases.
- Proficiency with legal case management systems such as Filevine.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
