Overview

Quorum is seeking a skilled Consultant with strong expertise in C#, PL/SQL, and Oracle to support implementation, customization, and support of enterprise solutions for clients in the Energy & Gas domain. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on technical experience along with a foundational understanding of upstream, midstream, or downstream business processes.

Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and support applications using C# (.NET Framework/Core).
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning in Oracle.
- Analyze client requirements and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Support build, version upgrades, patches, bug fixes, and client‑specific enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including QA, Product, and Client Services.
- Participate in client interactions, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
- And other duties as assigned.

Requirements





- 2–5 years of experience in C#/.NET development.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle Database (queries, performance tuning, indexing, optimization).
- Experience in application debugging and production support
- Understanding of software development & upgrade cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to the Energy & Gas domain (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream – Land, Accounting, Production, Transportation, etc.).
- Experience working with enterprise‑grade business applications.
- Familiarity with build/version upgrades and patching processes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.

Additional Details

- Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation.
- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
- Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated.
- Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
