SummaryServe as the primary operational liaison between the Account Manager, the customer, and the internal operations team for assigned accounts. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of shipments from booking through final delivery while delivering exceptional customer service, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic account growth. They are expected to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, develop standardized workflows, and serve as a subject matter expert for both customers and internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesShipment Management: Manage shipments from booking through final delivery, ensuring timely execution and visibility throughout the transportation lifecycle. Monitor shipment milestones and proactively identify, communicate, and resolve delays or service issues. Coordinate with carriers, overseas partners, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure seamless shipment execution.Customer & Internal Communication: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned accounts. Communicate customer expectations and shipment requirements to internal operations teams. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate shipment updates.Account Support & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Support the Account Manager by understanding customer requirements and identifying opportunities to improve service levels.Operational Excellence:



Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience. Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned accounts. Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and internal operating procedures.Pricing & Quoting: Assist Account Managers with pricing requests and shipment quotations. Coordinate with procurement and carrier partners to obtain competitive rates. Prepare accurate customer quotations while ensuring company pricing guidelines are followed.Client-Facing Meetings: Participate in scheduled customer meetings to review operational performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). Present shipment updates, discuss service improvements, and address operational concerns.Training & Development: Provide training and operational guidance to internal teams on customer-specific processes and SOPs. Assist in onboarding new team members supporting assigned accounts.Additional Responsibilities: Maintain accurate shipment records and operational documentation. Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.Requirements1 year of experience working with international logistics processes, integral forwarding or related roles.Strong understanding of ocean, air, and ground transportation processes.B2-C1 English level proficiency.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.#J-18808-Ljbffr
