The Cost Estimator will analyze project requirements, gather necessary data, and prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project specifications and drawings, collaborating with project managers and engineering teams, and updating estimates as scopes change. The role involves monitoring presente costs versus estimates, identifying variances, and recommending cost-saving measures. The Cost Estimator will also assist in budgeting,



support bid preparations, and maintain accurate records and cost databases to improve forecasting and decision-making.QualificationsStrong skills in Cost Management and Cost Control to develop accurate estimates and monitor project expenses.Proficiency in Project Estimation and Budgeting to prepare detailed proposals and support financial planning.Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, and recommend cost-effective solutions.Experience with estimating software, spreadsheets, and financial tools relevant to construction, engineering, or similar fields.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present cost findings clearly.Prior experience in cost estimation for infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects is an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
