Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist (US Construction)

Location: Remote (Preference: Latin America | Open to South Africa)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time (US)
Compensatio: $2,000 per month, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support the financial operations of a growing U.S. construction company. The adecuado candidate will have hands-on experience managing AR and AP processes within the U.S. construction industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

- Generate and issue customer invoices.
- Monitor outstanding receivables.
- Follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile customer payments.
- Prepare AR reports.

Accounts Payable

- Process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Prepare payment runs.
- Maintain vendor records.
- Resolve billing discrepancies.





Financial Administration

- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Support reporting and audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies.

Required Qualifications

- Experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Familiarity with AIA billing process
- Previous experience within the U.S. construction industry (required).
- Quickbooks Online knowledge
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must come out of a construction background

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with US construction accounting processes.
- Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
