We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Case Manager to join our dynamic legal support team. Duties

- Manage all aspects of workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution, including initial intake, investigation, documentation, and ongoing case updates
- Coordinate with medical providers, employers, insurance carriers, and legal professionals to facilitate timely treatment and claim processing
- Conduct interviews with injured workers to gather detailed case information and assess claim validity
- Maintain accurate case files using legal case management systems such as PCLaw and iManage, ensuring compliance with procedural law requirements
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and correspondence related to each case while handling confidential information with integrity
- Monitor claim progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement strategies for efficient resolution
- Stay current on relevant laws including workers' compensation law,



procedural law, and applicable regulations to ensure compliance and best practices

Skills
- Extensive knowledge of workers' compensation law along with familiarity in related legal areas such as personal injury law and civil litigation support
- Strongly desired: Merus experience
- Strongly desired: Spanish and English proficiency
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment
- Excellent interviewing skills to obtain comprehensive case details from injured workers and stakeholders
- Superior organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in document review, proofreading, transcription, and filing processes
- Effective client communication abilities coupled with professional phone etiquette to foster positive relationships
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong research capabilities combined with knowledge of procedural law to ensure accurate case handling and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document drafting, data analysis, and reporting purposes
