This is a 100% remote, contracted position for a U.S.-based company (EST time zone).

As a Paid Media Specialist at FMO Media, you'll be joining a team that values innovation, results, and a "do-what-it-takes" attitude in the exciting field of digital marketing.

We are looking for an organized and creative supporting editor to work with our creative team to plan and edit video content according to client briefs. The supporting editor's responsibilities include ensuring that the client’s brand and integrity are maintained while also managing their editing pipeline and meeting realistic deadlines for post-production.

To be successful as an editor, you must be able to understand client branding and work creatively to produce the desired product. A good editor should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable. This individual must be social media savvy in order to create content that is attention-grabbing, edgy, and represents the client’s personality and brand.

It’s equally important that our editors are excellent at building client relationships, including handling uncomfortable situations, putting clients at ease, and communicating clearly and effectively to get results.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

- Must have a computer, required editing software & workstation setup.




- Must have proficiency in written and spoken English
- Complete a minimum of 15 video edits a day
- Completes all assigned weekly tasks
- Stays on track to meet deadlines & monthly edit quotas
- Attends all company-issued training sessions & conferences
- Continues to stay on top of latest developments & trends: Ex: TikTok, Reels, Video tactics, and editing trends
- Produces client-ready content by reviewing and finalizing before approval submission
- Uploads videos to the company's Google Drive and Frame.io
- Oversees the production of closed captions for Marketing and Communications videos
- Attends Zoom meetings with FMO Media team and clients.
- Other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be proficient with computers and other peripheral devices, digital video cameras, microphones, and video editing hardware and software.
- REQUIRED: Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder & Photoshop.
- Additional working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, Asana, Canva, Slack, Basecamp, G-Suite, WhatsApp, Envato, and Adobe Audition.
- Proficiency in audio syncing, color correcting, creating graphics/VFX, and SFX.
- Cinematic quality editing.
- Familiar with file formatting for both Mac & Windows.
- Proficient in Video Codecs.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $3-4 USD per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST
