As a Software Engineer specializing in npm and Yarn, you will maintain and optimize the package management infrastructure essential for JavaScript development. You will ensure the reliability and security of dependency resolution processes, providing a seamless experience for engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage scalable package registry infrastructure for npm and Yarn environments.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for efficient dependency resolution and version management.
- Implement robust supply chain security measures to protect JavaScript packages and registries.
- Maintain and extend core Node.js tooling to improve the developer experience and build performance.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to define standards for package distribution and usage.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on developer tooling or infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in managing and scaling package management infrastructure like npm or Yarn registries.
- Deep understanding of dependency resolution algorithms and software supply chain security for Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with registry internals and repository management at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
