Senior QA Engineer at BairesDev
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the end-to-end test strategy and planning to ensure the highest quality standards across complex software products. You will act as a strategic quality advisor, balancing technical leadership with hands-on execution to mitigate risks and streamline the release process.
What You'll Do
- Design and govern comprehensive, multi-layer test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing.
- Lead the identification and assessment of product risks to prioritize testing efforts on critical business functionalities.
- Oversee the defect lifecycle, ensuring rigorous tracking, communication, and resolution of quality issues.
- Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to align quality goals with project roadmaps and delivery timelines.
- Define and refine QA processes and standards to improve team velocity and software reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Proficiency in multi-layer testing across UI, API, and performance environmentsa.
- Strong experience in team leadership and managing the end-to-end defect lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of risk-based testing methodologies to prioritize critical functionalities.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
