We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data Engineer + AI (#22552) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, scalable backend services, and cloud-native data platforms using Python, TypeScript, AWS, and modern AI technologies.
- Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, and modern data engineering practices while ensuring data quality, governance, and observability.
- Develop production-ready AI and LLM-powered solutions, including agentic AI systems, conversational AI, and API-driven services that support internal and customer-facing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions, improve engineering best practices, and deliver scalable, reliable AI and data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or AI Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Proven experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Experience designing and developing APIs,



backend services, distributed systems, and scalable workflows.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI or LLM-powered applications in production.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, dimensional modeling, Data Vault, Medallion Architecture, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience building DBT transformation pipelines, testing frameworks, and data validation processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of conversational AI, agent-based systems, and AI platform development.
- Experience with Fivetran, Delta Lake, and modern analytics ecosystems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for Data Engineering and AI platforms.
- Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and governance solutions for AI-driven applications.
