Role Description The Paralegal at Salutem Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Bogota, D.C. In this position, the paralegal will support legal operations by preparing and organizing legal documents, assisting with case files, and maintaining accurate records.
Daily tasks include conducting legal and factual research, reviewing contracts and other documents for accuracy and compliance, and coordinating with attorneys and internal stakeholders to gather information. The paralegal will also help manage deadlines, track case progress,
and ensure that all documentation meets internal standards and applicable regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal support environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Law and legal procedures, with experience supporting attorneys or legal teams.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing legal forms and contracts.
- Strong Document Review skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, risks, and compliance issues.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with attorneys, colleagues, and external parties.
- Research capabilities for gathering legal and factual information, analyzing sources, and summarizing findings.
- Relevant academic background in Law or a related field; paralegal certification or equivalent training is an advantage.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English and experience in international or corporate environments are beneficial.
