Hiring: Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) Spanish Speaking

Salary: $7-$7.50 per hour commensurate to experience
About the Role
Work with a US-based healthcare practice to provide essential virtual support.
Responsibilities
- Manage medical reception tasks (calls, emails, correspondence)
- Verify insurance and handle prior authorizations
- Schedule appointments and update EHR/EMR systems
- Collect co-payments and outstanding balances if applicable
- Perform other medical administrative duties
Qualifications
- A degree OR some units in allied medical course is preferred
- At least 6 months experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant
- At least 6 months experience as a CSR
- 2+ years bilingual (English & Spanish fluency required)
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Knowledge of US healthcare private insurance (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare)
- Reliable high‑speed internet, updated computer/laptop, webcam, and headset
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and scheduling platforms
Additional Compensation
