The Role

Our client is looking for a Head of UX/UI to own the end‑to‑end product design experience across their platform.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll lead the existing design team while remaining highly hands‑on in the craft. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring designers, shaping design strategy, and still spending a significant portion of their time designing in Figma.

You’ll define the UX/UI vision across a complex B2B SaaS platform serving multiple user types, establish design standards, improve processes, and work closely with Product and Engineering to build intuitive, scalable user experiences.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, mentor, and grow the existing UX/UI design team.
- Establish high standards for design quality, processes, and delivery.
- Run design critiques and provide actionable feedback to elevate the team.
- Own the end‑to‑end design process,



from discovery to engineering handoff.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy.
- Design complex product experiences yourself—this is not a purely managerial role.
- Own UX/UI execution across the platform, from wireframes to high‑fidelity designs.
- Build and evolve a scalable design system in Figma.
- Lead user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Identify friction points and proactively improve the overall product experience.
- Track design impact through product adoption, engagement, and user experience metrics.

What We’re Looking For

- 6+ years of UX/UI design experience in B2B SaaS.
- At least 2 years leading a design team in a fast‑paced startup or small‑company environment.
- Proven ability to both lead designers and remain an active individual contributor.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end product design for complex SaaS products.
- Expert‑level proficiency in Figma, including design systems, components, prototyping, and developer handoff.
- Experience designing products with multiple user personas or complex workflows.
- Strong background in user research, usability testing, and data‑informed design decisions.
- Comfortable measuring UX success through adoption, engagement, and usability metrics.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
