The Qualifications We Seek
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a high-volume client service environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, multitask, triage work, and handle ad hoc tasks as needed
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and PDF software
- Excellent written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, supported by a friendly, professional, and client-focused approach
- Ability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Your Daily Tasks
- Develop knowledge of SREC, REC, AEC, and other renewable energy markets across assigned U.S. states, including the District of Columbia, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and future markets
- Learn and apply state solar and renewable energy certification rules, regulations, and program requirements
- Understand Managed Solutions services for system owners (clients) and solar installers or project developers (partners) within applicable state programs
- Process renewable energy project applications accurately and within established timelines
- Review application materials and communicate with clients and partners via email to obtain missing or outstanding information
- Assist with the certification and registration of renewable energy systems in applicable state programs and tracking registries
- Deliver prompt, professional, and solution-oriented client support through email
- Assist with new client onboarding by explaining the SRECTrade application process, available services, and online account features
- Respond to client and partner inquiries regarding applications, accounts, certifications, and transactions with accurate and timely solutions
