Accelya is seeking an Experienced C++ Developer to design, develop, and optimize low‑level C++ code for Windows and Linux environments. The role requires a deep focus on performance, efficiency, and manual resource management.

Location: Bogotá, Colombia – hybrid scheme (2 days per week in the office).

Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize low‑level C++ code, emphasizing performance and minimal reliance on high‑level abstractions.

- Write custom data structures and algorithms tailored to system needs, ensuring high performance and low resource usage.
- Handle manual memory management, optimize CPU cycles, and implement custom allocators and memory pools for performance‑critical applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex performance issues and memory leaks.
- Maintain clean, maintainable code while ensuring high performance and stability across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Write and execute unit tests to validate system‑level software, meeting high standards of reliability and performance.

Requirements - 3+ years of hands‑on C++ programming focused on low‑level,



performance‑critical applications.

- Solid experience with manual memory management, custom allocators, raw pointers, and low‑level resource management.
- Ability to optimize software for CPU cycles and memory usage, achieving high efficiency.
- Proficient with debugging and profiling tools.
- Extensive experience with CMake, Visual Studio, GCC, or other build tools on Windows and Linux.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, including hardware–software interaction, CPU, memory, and I/O.
- Experience working in containerized environments.
- Knowledge of linked lists; familiarity with SQL or PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Fluent in English (interviews will be conducted in this language).
