Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Freight Broker / Carrier Sales Representative to join our Transportation team. The adecuado candidate will have experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch, or transportation operations. This role is responsible for sourcing reliable carriers, negotiating competitive rates, monitoring shipments, recovering at-risk freight, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the transportation process.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and secure qualified carriers using DAT or similar load board platforms.

- Negotiate freight rates while maintaining profitability and service quality.

- Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

- Recover at-risk freight by identifying alternative carrier solutions and resolving transportation issues.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to support ongoing business needs.

- Manage pickup and delivery appointments, transit times, and carrier performance.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment information within the Transportation Management System (TMS).

- Communicate effectively with carriers, customers,



and internal teams to provide shipment updates and resolve issues.

- Make time-sensitive decisions to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Perform additional transportation and logistics duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Experience in Freight Brokerage, Carrier Sales, Dispatch, Tracking, or Transportation Operations.

- Experience using

DAT or a similar load board platform.

- Proven ability to source carriers, negotiate freight rates, and recover at-risk shipments.

- Strong understanding of transportation operations, including pickup and delivery appointments, transit times, and carrier performance.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in

English (B2–C1 required)

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Experience maintaining accurate documentation in a Transportation Management System (TMS).

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Availability to work assigned nights, weekends, and holidays as required
