Applications Technical Specialist II To manage and support Supply Chain Systems used for Sourcing and Contracts Management. Support users and procurement teams on Global Supply Chain systems and their integrations.
Principal Responsibilities
Participate in project discussions, investigate and understand project requirements, and take the lead with the support and integration requirements
Provide analysis and resolution of performance issues, system issues, data related issues and reports issues, ad hoc query requests, etc.
Project and User Support
Supply Chain systems Admin Related Tasks
Resolve all issues related to System performance, issues related to User Access, all technical issues and issues related to Systems Bugs
Set up and configure projects and users in Worley standard Contracts & Sourcing systems.
Develop training schedules and deliver required training.
Support integration development / bug resolution
Work with procurement team to ensure alignment between system and technical requirements, policies, and procedures.
Work with system vendor to ensure continuous optimum availability of the system
Documentation
Develop and maintain User Guides and Reports Guides.
Support development of Functional Specification
Standard Build and Customizations
Maintain application security roles and enforce and monitor separation of duties on role assignment to users.
Develop and maintain the general project configuration to ensure standard usage. Review project system health checks and lessons learned and adjust standard configuration as appropriate to make improvements or resolve issues.
Support maintenance of in-house developed suite of reports by gathering requirements, writing specifications, and managing development and UAT of report changes
Maintain and support system integrations with internal and external systems.
Liaise with software vendor for issue reporting and resolution
New Release Testing and Implementation
Test all modules/functions used in the global standard configuration.
Ensure projects will not be negatively impacted by the upgrade.
Report issues to vendor for resolution as needed – expedite solutions.
Plan and support production rollout.
Communicate changes to the users.
Monitor success post rollout – manage issues.
Systems Knowledge and Continuous Improvement
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain System in all modules
Investigate ways to improve productivity, efficiency,
or information availability and visibility for projects through reports / dashboards.
What you will bring
Requirements
Minimum education required: Professional
Minimum experience required: 5-10 years
Industry Specific Experience: 5+ years of Contracts Management/ Sourcing experience; preferably using AVEVA Contracts Risk Management System, Ariba, SAP, Coupa or others.
Comprehensive understanding of Contracts Management and Bid management principles.
Strong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables and workflows.
English Language C1 – as most interactions are in English
IT Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications.
General knowledge of systems (operting systems, software installation, and configurations).
