API Test Engineer at BairesDev

As an API Test Engineer, you will specialize in ensuring the quality and reliability of REST and GraphQL APIs through comprehensive testing strategies. You will play a vital role in the development lifecycle by identifying vulnerabilities and functional issues at the interface level before they impact the end-user experience.

What You'll Do

- Design and implement automated test suites for REST and GraphQL APIs using Postman and REST Assured.
- Develop and execute contract tests to ensure seamless integration and compatibility between microservices.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate API behavior under various conditions.
- Collaborate with developers to define API specifications and identify edge cases early in the design phase.




- Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance and rapid feedback loops.
- Document and track defects, working closely with engineering teams to drive timely resolutions.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering.
- Proven expertise in API-level testing, including functional and performance testing.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and REST Assured.
- Hands-on experience with contract testing for REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of automated testing integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
