Part-Time Hands-On Controller / Finance Lead

Location: Remote, Colombia

Schedule: 15 to 20 hours per week

Compensation: USD $2,200 to $2,500 per month, based on experience

Time-zone requirement: Regular overlap with New York business hours

About Parlor Social Club

Parlor Social Club is a rapidly growing, app-based company operating across seven major U.S. cities. We currently serve approximately 11,000 members, host around 200 events each month. Members pay a monthly fee for access to a curated calendar of social, cultural, wellness, dining, and entertainment experiences.

As we prepare for significant growth in both membership and the number of cities we serve, we are strengthening our financial systems, controls, budgeting, and management reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking a part-time, hands-on Controller and Finance Lead to take ownership of our accounting operations, monthly reporting, budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial controls.

This is not a traditional CFO position. Our senior leadership already provides substantial financial and strategic expertise.



We need an experienced finance professional who can ensure that our financial information is accurate, organized, timely, and useful for decision-making.

This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate must be comfortable working directly inside the accounting system, reviewing individual transactions, resolving reconciliation issues, and improving underlying finance processes.

The position will initially include oversight of our existing bookkeeper. Over time, the Controller may recommend reducing, restructuring, or absorbing some bookkeeping responsibilities as our systems become more efficient.

Primary Responsibilities
- Accounting and Monthly Close
- Own and manage the monthly financial close process
- Review bookkeeping, transaction classifications, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Ensure bank accounts, credit cards, payment-processor revenue, payroll, contractor pay
