Practice Director - Medellín, Colombia
This role holds a critical position driving growth and development within the assigned market. Responsibilities include active engagement in outside sales efforts, strategic planning, crafting proposals, and effectively communicating problem statements to address customer pain points.
They are accountable for developing comprehensive customer development plans, ensuring resource allocation, managing communications and conflicts, overseeing recruitment, and driving profitability while nurturing talent within the organization.

The Practice Director has a 360‑degree approach to continuously advocating for and driving improvements on behalf of our customers through optimizing their experience and delivering solutions.
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Serve as a key evangelist and subject matter expert in Talent aligned with our vision with the local market, internal company associates and all who interact with this individual
- Manage a projects list and report on status weekly for internal, customer or other initiatives
- Develop business cases, manage and execute on cross‑functional projects ensuring organizational progress & readiness in a high growth firm
- Espouse the culture of the firm as a key tone setter to our associates everyday
- Breed and represents our company values, ensuring every associate is engaged, motivated and understands their goals
- Compile weekly lifecycle recruiting metrics and financial forecasting for vigente vs. goals for assigned accounts
Customer Development
- Develop comprehensive customer development plan with weekly forecasting to achieve business objectives for assigned practice, vertical or geography
- Develop customer growth plans ensuring objectives are consistently met while measuring the correlation between satisfaction and revenue/gross profit objective; develop detailed action plans for prospecting to drive coordinated outreach, meetings, events and other activities
- Successfully build relationships with prospect customers
- Understand customer pain points and provide value to them through logically assembled information for them to consume and act on
- Create proposals, statements of work and price opportunities; articulate problem statements and create presentations/proposals on our approach to address pain points; drive a solutions‑based approach encompassing Talento services that create efficiency, new capabilities or lower costs
- Partner with marketing to develop campaigns that drive lead generation, strategic alliances, thought leadership etc. resulting in market activation and growth
- Participate as needed in trade professional and industry associations to develop contacts while contributing meaningfully to the purpose of the associations
- Coordinate customer and company‑driven initiatives to meet the needs of the customer while ensuring a positive outcome for the company
Customer Experience
- Ensure appropriate resourcing for customers to achieve desired outcomes; participate in attracting, developing, engaging & retaining associates; obsess over the right resources for customer experience to be achieved
- Serve as a recruiting expert to our customers' HR business partners and hiring managers across multiple functional domains; provide strategic insights, solutions, recommendations and overall execution support to ensure the Talento differentiation from mass market, transaction‑centric vendors
- Responsible for customer communications, conflict resolution and compliance; review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
- Obtain job requisitions for contract, contract‑to‑hire and permanent placement
- Develop and manage recruiting KPIs per customer producing insightful stories and driving delivery excellence through data
- Successfully review job descriptions and analyze client requirements to understand the hiring manager's needs and skills required; provide feedback to customers when expectations vs. market realities are not aligned
- Play an integral role in contributing to the know‑how of the team through collaboration and practice sharing; we believe you surround yourself with great people and they will learn from each other to become collectively better
- Participate meaningfully in the ongoing performance management process for the firm's associates
- Share responsibility for facilitating daily prioritization meetings; we self‑manage our selves through a rhythm where the team holds each other accountable
- Advocate on behalf of the customer during all business engagements to ensure a consistent and valuable experience
- Ensure consistent execution of the end‑to‑end recruiting process serving as a coach and hands‑on trainer in these areas:
- Interaction with customers in kickoff & calibration meetings; ensure requirements are gathered and leveraged throughout research, outreach, assessment and submission
- Support development of research plan and tactics by collaborating and leading when needed with recruiters,
researchers and customer teams; construct Boolean search strings to expedite focused candidate and client discovery; develop creative sourcing and recruiting resources to expand talent portfolio and attract qualified candidates
- Conduct structured interviews and produce corresponding documentation to complete comprehensive candidate screenings that articulate fit to a role
- Develop compelling outreach messaging via appropriate mediums to effectively market to candidates
- Manage and update internal ATS with accuracy and integrity
- Display technical knowledge and the ability to understand technology
- Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
- Creates search overview reports for clients including market intelligence and activity summaries

Experience and Knowledge Requirements
- Passionate about enabling businesses through human capital
- 15 years of recruiting & human resources experience
- 7+ years as a team lead – developing, hiring, onboarding recruiting professionals
- 5+ years owning a large, complex customer relationship with proven success driving a land & expand approach
- 10+ years experience in sourcing and candidate assessment
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools including Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
- Driven by collaboration, learning, doing the right thing and quality human interaction
- Pride in delivering quality work, every time
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
