We're a residential mortgage lending company based in Miami, FL. We need a thumbnail designer with an obsessive focus on CTR and strong AI design skills to create high-impact thumbnails for our finance/mortgage YouTube channel. You'll turn financial and real estate topics into scroll-stopping visuals. This is an ongoing, 100% remote engagement.
Scope of Work
- High-resolution thumbnail design optimized for mobile viewing
- Application of color theory, visual hierarchy, and contrast to maximize click appeal
- Visual translation of financial/real estate concepts into simple, compelling graphics
- Thumbnail concepts that build curiosity without repeating the video title
- AI-generated backgrounds and custom graphic elements
- Photo editing and expression adjustments on company-provided host photos, with the host's consent, preserving identity and likeness
- Professional retouching: expressions, cropping, lighting, contrast
- Integration of 2D/3D elements, icons, and typography
- A/B test variant creation and CTR performance analysis
Requirements
- Advanced Adobe Photoshop and expert use of generative AI design tools
- Portfolio with YouTube thumbnail samples (required — from your existing work)
- Familiarity with finance/real estate/mortgage channel visual styles is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish (spoken and written) — required for thumbnail text and team communication in both languages
Compensation From $5–$10 per thumbnail (fixed price per piece) or from $10/hour, depending on complexity and demonstrated results — final structure agreed in the interview.
Shortlisted candidates complete ONE short paid test thumbnail before the ongoing engagement.
