? Job Overview

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer (Mexico Market) with deep insights into the Latin American and Mexican online gambling (iGaming) and sports betting landscape.

In this role, you will be dedicated to creating intuitive, seamless, and high-converting digital product experiences (Web / H5 / Mobile App) tailored for Mexican players. By leveraging deep understanding of local user behaviors, network constraints, mobile device limitations, and localized visual preferences, you will design frictionless interfaces that drive First Deposit Rates (FDR), player retention, and overall platform engagement.

? Key Responsibilities & Job Duties

1. Localized Payment & Onboarding UX Optimization

Frictionless Onboarding & First Deposit: Design streamlined, intuitive user flows tailored to Mexican payment habits ( SPEI instant transfers, OXXO cash/barcode deposits, and CoDi ) to minimize drop-offs during the deposit process.

Offline-to-Online (O2O) Deposit Guidance: Create clear visual interfaces for OXXO cash deposits—including barcode generation, payment instructions, and automated status notifications—to alleviate player anxiety while waiting for funds to clear.

2. Contextual Sportsbook & Casino UI/UX Design

Sportsbook Interface Design: Deeply understand Mexican betting preferences around Liga MX, Copa América, championship boxing, and US sports (NFL/MLB) to design intuitive interfaces with clear information hierarchy, Quick Bet / One-Click Bet functionality, and versátil Accumulator (Parlay) builders.

Lightweight & Instant-Gratification Casino UI: Optimize interaction animations and visual responsiveness for popular Mexican game categories ( Crash games like Aviator, Video Bingo, and 3D Slots ), ensuring smooth performance across various mobile devices (especially mid-to-entry-level Android smartphones).

3. Low-Bandwidth & Device Performance UX

Performance-Driven Lightweight Design:



Account for local network limitations (unstable 4G/3G in certain regions) and older smartphone hardware by designing ultra-fast, lightweight H5/App interfaces with clear disconnect-recovery messaging.

Intuitive Localized Microcopy: Craft clear, engaging, and localized microcopy ( Mexican Spanish ) with error-prevention mechanisms to guide users smoothly through every action.

4. Data-Driven Iteration & A/B Testing

Utilize heatmaps, clickstream data, and funnel analysis to continuously run A/B tests and optimize key pages, including the First Deposit page, Bonus/Free Spin collection flows, and Casino Lobby navigation.

? Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

First Deposit Rate (FDR): Optimize Onboarding and SPEI/OXXO payment UX to reduce cart abandonment/drop-off rates during deposit steps.

Betting Conversion & Speed: Shorten the clicks-to-bet path for live sports events and fast-paced Crash games.

Page Load Speed & Bounce Rate: Ensure UI fluidness in low-bandwidth environments to lower bounce rates on landing pages and the game lobby.

Campaign Engagement: Design high-converting, culturally resonant promotional interfaces for local holidays ( Día de Muertos, Mexican Independence Day ).

【Professional Qualifications】

UI/UX Tools Mastery: Expert proficiency in Figma (building scalable Design Systems / Component Libraries), Sketch, Adobe XD, or Principle/Protopie (for micro-interactions and high-fidelity prototyping).

Mobile-First / Responsive Design: Strong mobile-first design mindset with expert knowledge of UI/UX guidelines for H5 and Android native applications.

Design System Development: Proven capability to build and maintain UI component libraries tailored for gaming platforms to ensure consistency and development efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work closely with Front-end Developers, CRM Operations, and Data Analysts.

Bonus: 2+ years of experience in iGaming, Poker/Card games, FinTech/E-wallets, or high-frequency trading product design.

Language Skills: Fluency in English for professional collaboration; proficiency in Spanish (Mexican context) is a major plus.

? Portfolio Requirements The applicant's portfolio should demonstrate a user-centric UX problem-solving process , rather than just static illustrations:

Mobile-First Product Case Studies: Complete App or H5 design cases (preferably in iGaming, FinTech/Payments, Sportsbook, or E-commerce ).

Payment/Onboarding Optimization Cases: Demonstration of how complex forms or deposit flows (e.g., OXXO/SPEI journeys) were simplified using Wireframes, User Flows, and Journey Maps.

Data & User Test Driven Results: Showcase of problem identification ➔ research ➔ design solutions ➔ A/B testing or post-launch performance metrics.

High-Contrast & High-Impact Visuals: Clear visual hierarchy that captures player attention and guides strong Call-to-Action (CTA) conversions.
