Role Description The Technical Sales Advisor at MAPEI Colombia is a full-time, on-site role based in Bogota, D.C. This role is responsible for providing technical guidance on MAPEI products and solutions to existing and potential customers, including distributors, contractors, architects, and other industry professionals.

The Technical Sales

Advisor conducts product demonstrations, site visits, and training sessions to ensure correct product selection and application. Daily activities include supporting the sales team with pre- and post-sales technical advice, preparing technical proposals, responding to customer inquiries, and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues. The role also involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, and contributing to strategies that strengthen customer relationships and drive sales growth.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs, interpret technical data, and propose suitable solutions.
- Consulting and advisory skills to guide customers and internal teams on best practices, product selection,



and project specifications.
- Technical support and troubleshooting skills to diagnose application issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales skills to identify opportunities, support negotiations, and help achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in construction materials, building systems, or industrial products is highly beneficial.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, site visits, and customer requests.
- Willingness to travel locally for customer visits, site inspections, and training sessions as needed.
- Proficiency with standard office software and basic digital tools for reporting and presentations.
