Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Spanish-Speaking Healthcare Virtual Assistant.

The Healthcare Virtual

Assistant will support dental practices by handling patient communication in Spanish and English, including answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing reminders through phone, chat, or email. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate patient records, assisting with insurance verification workflows, and coordinating information with practice staff using Janie’s systems. The role also involves providing empathetic support to patients,



ensuring their questions are addressed and guiding them through procedures and care instructions. The adecuado candidate is comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks, and collaborating virtually with clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and practice staff.
- Experience or familiarity with patient care and basic healthcare or dental medicine concepts.
- Understanding of health & safety principles in a healthcare setting and ability to follow protocols.
- Awareness of safe manual handling practices when discussing or coordinating patient support and logistics.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Comfort with using digital tools, practice management or healthcare software, and multitasking in a virtual environment.
- Prior experience in dental, medical, or healthcare administration, contact centers, or virtual assistance is beneficial.
- Reliable internet connection, appropriate remote workspace, and ability to work full-time scheduled hours.
