Software Engineer (InsurTech) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer (InsurTech), you will develop and optimize advanced digital solutions for the insurance industry. You will leverage your domain expertise to transform complex insurance workflows into scalable, modern platforms that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Architect and maintain robust backend systems for high-volume insurance transactions.
- Design and integrate complex modules for policy administration, claims processing, and underwriting.
- Lead legacy modernization initiatives to transition traditional insurance platforms into modern cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize system performance and reliability to handle diverse insurance lines and commercial data.
- Implement secure data handling practices to protect sensitive policyholder information and maintain compliance.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on InsurTech or the insurance domain.
- Proven expertise with core insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, and underwriting.
- Solid background in backend stack development and modernizing legacy insurance systems.
- Strong understanding of insurance lines such as Life, P&C;, or Commercial Auto.
- Experience implementing industry standards and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
