Software Engineer (Core Banking) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer specializing in Core Banking, you will develop and maintain the mission-critical platforms that handle accounts, transactions, and ledgers. You will play a vital role in ensuring absolute data integrity and high availability for the backbone of modern financial services.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop robust core banking systems to manage complex financial transactions and ledgers.
- Implement and maintain integrations with enterprise core banking platforms such as Temenos, FIS, or Mambu.
- Build and optimize backend services to ensure seamless account operations and real-time data consistency.
- Define and develop clean API abstractions to hide underlying banking complexity for internal product teams.
- Ensure system reliability and security by handling complex integration realities like retries and failure states.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical banking solutions with strict regulatory and business requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, specifically within Fintech or Banking sectors.
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining core banking platforms, including accounts, transactions, and ledgers.
- Proficiency with core banking systems such as Temenos, FIS, or Mambu.
- Strong understanding of banking compliance and financial data structures.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
