Software Engineer (Autonomy) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer (Autonomy), you will develop the core logic that enables autonomous systems to perceive, decide, and act with minimal human intervention. You will focus on creating reliable behaviors for autonomous vehicles, ensuring they can navigate complex environments safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust software components for on-vehicle autonomy logic.
- Develop and optimize sophisticated decision-making algorithms to handle complex real-world driving scenarios.
- Address critical edge cases by implementing autonomous vehicle safety patterns and rigorous software testing.
- Integrate diverse sensor data to improve system perception and environmental awareness.
- Formulate planning strategies that manage uncertainty to maintain high safety standards in dynamic settings.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on robotics or autonomous systems.
- Proven expertise in C++ development and fundamental robotics principles.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing decision-making algorithms and on-vehicle autonomy logic.
- Proficiency in planning under uncertainty and implementing safety patterns for autonomous vehicles.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
