Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Service Technician – Wellhead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing wellhead equipment while providing exceptional service to customers while living in Colombia and installing in Venezuela. The idóneo candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, values safety, and enjoys working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Engineer, Mechanical/Petroleum Technician, or related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
- Proficiency with measuring instruments: tape measure, calipers, micrometers, and others.
- Knowledge of API thread standards.




- Proficiency with manual mechanical tools, including torque wrenches.
- Knowledge of casing cutting technology.
- Knowledge of essential parameters for field welding and heat treatment.
- Knowledge of pressure testing using UAP (Universal Actuating Pump) and/or manual testing tools and recorders.
- Excellent communication and/or negotiation skills.
- Preparation of technical reports.
- Preparation of risk analysis/job safety analysis.
- Knowledge of the Northern Monagas area and the Orinoco Oil Belt

Experience

- Venezuela passport holders and residents in Colombia willing to commute to Venezuela.
- 5+ years of experience in the installation and/or recovery of Wellheads, casing hangers, packoffs, tubing hangers, and Christmas trees.
- Basic knowledge of API 6A standards.
- Intermediate English required.
- Confined space work certification/training.
- Working at heights certification/training.
