- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and assess risks.
- Monitor portfolio performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize returns while minimizing risk exposure.
- Collaborate with analysts and other team members to evaluate asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing portfolio performance and strategic recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and insights into their investment portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, safeguarding the firm's integrity and reputation.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Participate in investment committee meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on market trends and portfolio performance.
- Stay informed about economic trends, market developments,
and industry best practices to enhance investment decision-making.
- Collaborate with external partners, including financial advisors and investment firms, to expand the firm's investment capabilities.
- Lead special projects related to portfolio management, including asset allocation studies and risk assessment initiatives.
Requirements - A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management or investment analysis, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and performance measurement tools, as well as familiarity with portfolio management software.
- A solid understanding of investment vehicles, asset classes, and risk management strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities. Nice to have - Experience with alternative investments, such as private equity, hedge funds, or real estate.
- Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing principles and practices.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, enhancing client relationships and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting investment management and compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Bloomberg, or similar platforms.
