Qualifications
- 6+ years of financial and accounting experience, with a manufacturing environment background required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting, with manufacturing principles and prior experience required
- Master's degree desired, preferably with a focus on Data Management, System Connectivity, and Automation
- Well-organized and structured individual with the ability to multitask, manage projects, and handle multiple high-priority initiatives
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence functional areas of the business through data-driven analytics
- Strong data manipulation skills, including data consolidation and analysis, to explain and clearly define manufacturing and inventory cost trends while providing recommendations
- Experience using Oracle, OneStream, and Alteryx preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide inventory reporting, tracking, and control efforts, including the design and implementation of policies related to excess and obsolete (E&O;) reserves
- Analyze inventory data to identify volume movement trends and assess the quality and accuracy of inventory information
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate system classifications, usage measurements, unit-of-measure integrity, and location value accuracy
- Develop automated data connections across multiple systems to enhance inventory and E&O; reporting and analysis
- Automate weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory finance processes using AI tools, Oracle ERP, and OneStream (GL and FP&A;)
- Leverage automation to accelerate decision-making related to inventory management and reporting
- Lead inventory-related audit activities, including data gathering, procurement invoice validation, and process improvements through automation
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations,
monthly journal entries, weekly inventory reports, and annual inventory revaluations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to follow up on and support inventory-related matters, including disposition and hold items
