We are seeking a Senior Director of Data Consulting to join our remote team.

This leadership role presents the opportunity to shape data-driven strategies for global clients and influence enterprise data solutions. You will collaborate with talented professionals across multiple disciplines and drive innovation in a dynamic environment. This position allows for a meaningful impact on client success and organizational growth.

Responsibilities Oversee the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and solutions aligned with business goals and long-term vision

Define data frameworks such as data lakes, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions using leading cloud providers and modern data processing technologies

Collaborate with business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, future-oriented data architectures

Advise clients on data strategy, governance, and operating models to create efficient and tailored data ecosystems

Lead consulting engagements and presales activities demonstrating deep knowledge in data engineering, data management, and analytics

Evaluate current data environments, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for data quality, accessibility, and governance

Stay updated on industry trends,



emerging technologies, and practices in data management, AI/ML, and cloud solutions, applying these insights to client requirements

Support the creation and deployment of accelerators, blueprints, and tools to enhance EPAM’s Data Service capabilities

Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, maintaining quality-driven code and efficient CI/CD processes

Effectively convey complex technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on data technology and strategy Requirements 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years as a Data Technology Consultant, Data Architect, or in a similar role on enterprise data initiatives

Involvement in a minimum of 10 projects or experience launching three or more products or key product features to market

Ability to manage teams of 70+ FTEs or smaller teams with significant business impact

Deep expertise in data platforms and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

Proficiency in data processing frameworks like Databricks and MS Fabric for large-scale data solutions

Skills in programming languages such as SQL and Python for data engineering and analytics

Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and tools for data quality

Familiarity with AI/ML technologies including natural language processing and computer vision

Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD,



and practices for quality-focused software development

Knowledge of data architecture, lifecycle management, and enterprise data product design

Experience delivering large-scale data solutions such as data lakes, analytics platforms, and reporting systems

Analytical and problem-solving proficiency with a history of developing innovative data solutions

Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to define impactful data strategies

Track record of managing and delivering complex data projects with measurable outcomes

Organizational aptitude for managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

Fluent English communication skills at the C1 level, both written and spoken

Background in consulting including stakeholder management, client relationship building, and conveying technical issues clearly

Capability to monitor industry trends, conduct market and competitor analysis, and integrate insights into planning Nice to have Data certification
