Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close activities, and preparation of financial statements. This full-time, on-site role in Bogota, D.C. involves reconciling accounts, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
The Senior
Accountant will oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles, support cash flow management, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. The role includes preparing reports for management, supporting internal and external audits, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

provide guidance to junior accounting staff, and help maintain a strong internal control environment.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in spreadsheets and other financial analysis tools.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support decision-making by management.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and local tax and regulatory requirements relevant to operations in Bogota, D.C.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, including mentoring or guiding junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (such as CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
