Our IT Operations team is looking for an IT Ops Security Engineer Associate who will play a vital role in maintaining the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of Inchcape's IT infrastructure, systems, and data. You will work closely with Cybersecurity and IT Operations teams to identify vulnerabilities, deploy security patches, and support remediation initiatives across our global technology environment.
What you'll do Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of IT systems, applications, and network devices using industry-standard security tools.
Analyze identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation activities based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure smooth execution of vulnerability remediation and security initiatives.
Apply security patches across multiple platforms and applications through automated and manual deployment processes.
Support efforts to minimize cybersecurity risks while maintaining system availability and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of vulnerability management and patch management processes. About you Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and patching processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and customer-service oriented.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and work across different time zones.
Fluent English communication skills.
