Revenue Assurance & Disputes Analyst
Identidad Tech · Bogotá, Colombia · On-site
Do you enjoy tracing a billing discrepancy back to its exact root cause — and turning that precision into real dollars recovered for the business?
At Identidad Tech, we've spent over 25 years building telecommunications solutions for carriers and enterprises worldwide: Wholesale Voice, SMS, Cloud Numbering, and Managed Services. We operate globally with lean, focused teams — which means this role isn't a back-office numbers job. You'll own the full billing dispute cycle end-to-end, work directly with our AR & Treasury Associate, and interact regularly with international carriers.
If you want a role where your analytical precision has direct, visible financial impact, keep reading.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end voice and SMS billing dispute cycle — analyzing CDR/EDR and reconciling carrier traffic records against our internal platforms.
- Investigate root causes of discrepancies and dispute differences between platform measurements and carrier invoices per contract terms.
- Resolve carrier and customer invoice disputes, validating claims to accept or reject based on contractual terms.
- Maintain the dispute log aligned with the accounting system and prepare the weekly dispute report.
- Respond to inquiries related to billing discrepancies, rates, and commercial agreements — and send CDR/EDR files per established procedure.
- Support treasury, collections, and financial reporting: process credit memos and accruals from disputes/adjustments, and support AR/AP Aging, past-due, and SOA reporting.
- Support financial statement analysis for counterparty credit assessments.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4+ years Real,
hands-on experience reconciling and resolving billing discrepancies with vendors/carriers and customers — comparing internal records against invoices and managing the reconciliation process to resolution.
- Strong B2 (or higher) English — required, both written and spoken. You'll communicate directly with international carriers on a regular basis.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with an ERP (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Preferred: telecom industry experience, dispute management, and collections background.
- Available to work 100% on-site in Bogotá. Progressive hybrid benefit after first six months.
What we're looking for
- Someone precise, comfortable with numbers and contracts, and genuinely curious about tracing a discrepancy back to its source.
- A clear communicator, confident writing and speaking with international carriers in English.
- Someone who thrives on process and documentation, and manages multiple concurrent disputes under deadline pressure.
- Sound judgment on when to escalate versus resolve independently.
The profile that fits with us We're not looking for someone who simply processes numbers on a spreadsheet. We're looking for someone who takes real ownership of data integrity and financial accuracy — who investigates a discrepancy until it's actually resolved, not just logged. If that's how you work, this role is for you.
