- Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to define project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis of fiber materials to ensure optimal performance and durability.
- Utilize advanced software tools for modeling and simulation to predict product behavior under various conditions.
- Oversee the manufacturing process, providing technical guidance to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues that arise during the development and production phases.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in fiber technology and integrate relevant innovations into product development.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns,
fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all engineering processes.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles, with a focus on fiber technology or materials engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as CAD, FEA, and simulation software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to fiber materials and product safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Nice to have - Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with sustainable materials and eco-friendly product design.
- Familiarity with ISO and ASTM standards related to fiber products.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in fiber production.
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing or automated production systems.
Skills & tools - Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for product design and modeling.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) tools for performance testing and validation.
- Strong understanding of material properties and testing methodologies specific to fiber technology.
- Experience with project management software to track progress and manage resources effectively.
