The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the pricing of the spare parts portfolio, ensuring timely price activation, compliance with established margin policies, and alignment with financial and commercial strategies. This role plays a critical part in driving business profitability, maintaining market competitiveness, and supporting dealer network satisfaction.
The position requires strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration to implement pricing policies, manage budget controls, and coordinate financial processes that support sustainable business growth.
Working Scheme: Hybrid - Bogotá/Colombia.
Key Accountabilities Pricing Management & Margin Optimization
- Activate prices for part numbers incorporated by the Supply department, ensuring timely availability across the portfolio.
- Ensure all price activations comply with margin requirements established under the current pricing policy.
- Analyze and implement price adjustments and increases requested by the Finance department.
- Review and adjust spare parts pricing based on market demand, competitive positioning, and business objectives.
- Monitor pricing performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
Commercial Support & Policy Development
- Partner with Finance and Marketing (FCSD) teams to develop, review, and enhance pricing policies and strategies.
- Provide pricing guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including factory teams and the dealer network.
- Respond to inquiries related to spare parts pricing, ensuring accuracy and consistency in communication.
- Support commercial initiatives through data-driven pricing analysis and recommendations.
Incentives, Settlements & Financial Administration
- Process incentive plan settlements based on approved results and guidelines established in the Variable Marketing framework.
- Issue credit notes for incentives earned by the dealer network and rebates obtained by distributors.
- Maintain accurate records of settlements, credits, reimbursements, and payment transactions.
- Consolidate and track monthly reports detailing settlements and payments by applicable category and program.
Budget Control & Financial Governance
- Monitor and control the budget allocated to the dealer network,
ensuring compliance with approved spending limits.
- Review and approve invoices within company systems according to established financial processes and controls.
- Support financial governance activities by ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to internal procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to maintain transparency and accountability in pricing-related financial transactions.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and maintain monthly consolidated reports on settlements, payments, incentives, and rebates.
- Analyze pricing and financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of pricing processes, tools, controls, and reporting standards.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing information across systems and reports.
Candidate Profile Experience & Capability
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in pricing, financial analysis, commercial operations, business analytics, or related functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.[
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in commercial, finance, supply chain, or aftermarket environments is preferred.
Technical Strength
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and pricing management platforms.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin management, budgeting, and financial processes.
- Knowledge of invoice processing, incentive administration, and financial controls.
- Advanced English required; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
