Role Description The Odoo System Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo-based business applications. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and customizing Odoo modules, integrating Odoo with external systems, and optimizing database structures to ensure reliability and performance.

The developer will write clean, efficient code, perform unit and integration testing, and troubleshoot issues across different environments.



This role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support and documentation for implemented features.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in System Development and Software Development, with practical experience implementing and customizing Odoo or similar ERP platforms.
- Candidates should possess solid Programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for building and modifying Odoo modules and related integrations.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL) for data modeling, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess Testing skills, including unit, integration, and regression testing, to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Experience with Odoo architecture, APIs, and deployment in cloud or on-premise environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on performance and security.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in remote, cross-cultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
