Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our Transportation team. The idóneo candidate will have experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, shipment tracking, or transportation operations. This role is responsible for monitoring freight movements, coordinating with carriers and customers, ensuring on-time deliveries, and resolving transportation issues in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.

- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, brokers, and customers to provide shipment updates and resolve transportation issues.

- Manage time-sensitive and high-volume communications while maintaining exceptional customer service.

- Monitor carrier performance and proactively identify potential service disruptions.

- Support dispatch and freight brokerage operations by ensuring accurate shipment execution.

- Update shipment statuses and maintain accurate documentation within the Transportation Management System (TMS).

- Coordinate freight movements involving refrigerated, food-grade, and agricultural products while ensuring compliance with service requirements.





- Escalate and resolve operational issues to minimize delays and maximize customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient transportation planning and execution.

- Perform additional transportation and logistics duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in the logistics or transportation industry.

- Experience in Freight Brokerage, Dispatch, Shipment Tracking, or Transportation Operations.

- Experience working with food, refrigerated (reefer), or agricultural freight.

- Familiarity with transportation and tracking platforms such as McLeod, Chain, Trucker Tools, or similar systems.

- Strong understanding of transportation operations, shipment tracking, and carrier communication.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

- English proficiency: B2–C1 (required).
