This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, benefits administration, administrative areas, budgets, training and development, onboarding, new hire processes, terminations, employee status changes, policy implementation and monitoring, employment law compliance, company activities and employee engagement, facilities, site administration, workplace experience, vendor management, HR operations, and internal communications, among others.
Key Job Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnership & Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary Human Resources partner for assigned business units and employee populations.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.
- Manage employee relations matters, including conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Coach leaders on performance management, career development, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR procedures, service level expectations, and local labor regulations.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Facilitate talent reviews, RYG discussions, succession planning, and workforce planning activities with leadership teams.
- Support organizational design and workforce changes, including promotions, transfers, internal mobility, reorganizations, and headcount planning.
- Identify training and development needs and support initiatives that enhance employee capability and business performance.
- Partner with leaders to support onboarding, employee development, retention, and overall talent management strategies.
Performance Management
- Drive the execution of performance management programs, including new hire evaluations,
coaching documentation, annual reviews, development plans, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and support employee performance improvement initiatives and career growth opportunities.
HR Analytics & Employee Engagement
- Maintain and analyze workforce metrics, organizational trends, turnover data, and engagement results to support decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and people analytics for assigned business units.
- Administer employee engagement surveys, analyze findings, and develop action plans to improve engagement and retention.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations to address turnover trends and improve the employee experience.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Lead and oversee the execution of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee status changes, compensation actions, benefits administration, promotions, transfers, and offboarding activities.
- Manage and develop a team of HR Generalists and HR Analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services, operational excellence, and adherence to established service levels.
- Establish priorities, allocate workload, and provide coaching and guidance to the HR team to support business objectives and employee needs.
- Monitor HR operational processes and metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, efficiency, and enhanced employee experience.
- Partner with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits,
and other shared services teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of HR programs and processes.
Site Administration & Workplace Experience
- Oversee and coordinate site administration activities through Administrative Services and support teams.
- Support facilities operations, workplace experience initiatives, vendor management, employee events, client visits, and leadership visits.
- Ensure site readiness and a positive employee experience through effective coordination of workplace and administrative services.
- Manage assigned engagement, recognition, and operational budgets.
Qualifications
- English Spanish bilingual (oral and written), with an advanced English level (B2 preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, or a minimum of 1 year as an HRBP.
- Experience supporting employees and operational leaders in day-to-day HR matters.
- Knowledge of Colombian labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, onboarding, talent development, or HR operations.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, leaders, vendors, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience in a shared service, BPO, outsourcing, or multinational environment, or supporting employee populations of 300+ employees.
