About the Role

Lead multi-country client financial operations, driving operational excellence, month-end close execution, and service level agreements (SLAs) within a Finance Shared Services / GBS environment. Supporting enterprise clients primarily across Brazil and Colombia (with future LATAM expansion), this role acts as a strategic client delivery leader. The candidate will manage cross-functional finance teams across core processes (R2R, O2C, P2P), ensuring compliance with BR GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations while maintaining direct client CFO communication in Spanish and English (Portuguese preferred).

Preferred industry experience in Life Sciences and Material Sciences.

Responsibilities

- Delivery Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and scale finance delivery teams supporting client operations in Brazil and additional LATAM countries.
- Process Management: Oversee operations across core finance towers:
- Record-to-Report (R2R): General ledger, month-end/year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, IFRS, and BR GAAP compliance.
- Order-to-Cash (O2C) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Ensure alignment across billing, collections, AP, three-way matching, and vendor management.
- Client & Stakeholder Governance: Maintain strong client communication in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus),



supporting client CFOs with financial insights and operational health metrics.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure strict adherence to Brazilian regulatory requirements, local LATAM tax laws, and client-specific reporting standards.
- Data Consolidation: Coordinate with local finance teams across LATAM jurisdictions to consolidate multi-currency financial data and ensure report consistency.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA/CPA preferred.
- 10–12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with 3–5+ years in a dedicated BPO, BPM, GBS, or Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
- Proven experience managing multi-country client financial operations, including knowledge of Brazilian and LATAM tax regulations.

Required Skills

- Prior experience at integral BPO/BPM providers (e.g., Accenture, Genpact, Capgemini, IBM) or corporate Shared Service Centers (e.g., J&J; GBS, Bayer GBS, Siemens GBS).
- Industry background in Life Sciences or Material Sciences.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with tier-1 ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle) and consolidation tools (Hyperion, BlackLine).
- Demonstrated capability in tracking SLAs, KPIs, and client satisfaction metrics.

Preferred Skills

- Accuracy of financial reports under BR GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAPs.
- SLA/KPI adherence and timeliness of deliverables/financial consolidations.
- Budget adherence and variance control across LATAM client operations.
