What you will do

- Design and implement effective datalake solutions and pipelines in Azure Synapse from disparate data sources in Oracle Database and SaaS applications among others.
- Mentor other data engineers in high-level and low-level designs of data warehouse architecture and perform testing of solutions.
- Review data transformations, cleansing and rationalization required to move data from Bronze to Silver etc.
- Focus on data cleansing, data quality, data accuracy, data completeness and relevance to the business. Building and maintenance of data dictionary for the data lake is a must.
- Recommends solutions to improve new and existing operational stores.
- Educates staff members through training and individual support.
- Examines and identifies database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.




- Relevant cloud or data architecture certifications are a plus.

Experience

- 3–5 + years of experience for mid-level candidates in data warehousing, data engineering, or analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse and

Azure Data Factory or equivalent.

- Strong experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of data warehouse and data lake architecture principles.
- Proven ability to design scalable and secure data solutions.
- Experience implementing data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
