We're looking for a Customer Account Specialist to be the go-to point of contact for an assigned book of customer accounts — owning their orders from the moment they're placed all the way through to invoice, and building the kind of relationships that keep customers coming back. If you're organized, a natural problem-solver, and you like being the person who makes things run smoothly behind the scenes, this role is for you.

You'll work at the intersection of sales, transportation, plants, and credit, keeping everyone aligned and every order on track. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where accuracy and proactive communication make all the difference.

What You’ll Do

Order Management

- Monitor SAP for incoming EDI orders and accurately enter non‑EDI orders on time, with an eye for special customer requirements
- Own each order end to end — from release to shipment to any follow‑up — using the CSR Dashboard and reports to keep order flow moving
- Review and edit orders for correct pricing, promotions, load accuracy,



and proper sourcing
- Process invoice corrections, credit memos, and returns as needed

Customer Relationship & Account Support

- Serve as the central liaison between customers and internal/external teams (sales, brokers, transportation, plants, credit)
- Provide proactive communication on order status, logistics, and action plans — keeping customers and the sales team informed and aligned
- Partner with Account Managers and Sales to support account needs, resolve pricing discrepancies, and generate customer reports
- Research root causes on account‑specific issues and coordinate solutions
- Work closely with plants on production scheduling to meet customer demand
- Coordinate with credit and master data teams on customer setup and maintenance
- Cross‑train and back up teammates to keep the department strong
