This is a Remote Part-Time (20 hours per week) Role: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

About the Role

Casual Fridays is a creative agency helping hotels and resorts show up smarter and stronger online. We're hiring two part-time Community Managers to own the day-to-day conversation happening on our clients' social channels — and to help us rebuild how that work gets done.

This is a hybrid of two things.

The first is classic community management: monitoring comments, DMs, and reviews across hotel and resort brand accounts, replying in-brand, and knowing when something needs to go up the chain. The second is the part we're genuinely excited about — we want someone who, once they know the work, starts asking how to make it faster. Feeding FAQ documents into an AI assistant so responses draft themselves.

Turning a messy spreadsheet of platform data into a real monthly report. Testing a tool and telling us whether it's worth keeping.

We are being upfront: nobody has this fully figured out, including us. If you like the idea of being early to something and building the system rather than inheriting it, this role has a lot of room in it.

Who We're Looking For

This is an entry-level role. What matters more than years of experience is that you're current on what AI tools can actually do and you're not intimidated by figuring out a new one. You'll do well here if you:

- Write clearly and naturally in English — this is a public-facing writing role
- Have good instincts about tone, and about what a real person on the other end of a message needs
- Enjoy finding the inefficiency in a process and proposing a better version
- Are comfortable with data — spreadsheets, structuring information, spotting when a number looks wrong
- Have judgment: you can tell the difference between a routine question and something the client needs to see today
- Can work independently in a focused, part-time capacity across a Friday–Tuesday schedule

Key Responsibilities

Community Management (Core)

- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and reviews across assigned hotel and resort brand channels during your scheduled hours (Fri–Tue)
- Engage positively with brand communities following pre-set guidelines — likes, replies, thank-yous
- Hide or action spam and off-brand content per platform guidelines
- Identify sensitive, negative, or urgent situations and escalate to the Account Team with clear context

- Maintain a 24-hour response standard across all assigned channels, including weekends
- Work primarily inside social management tools such as AgoraPulse or Sprout Social

AI Workflows & Automation

- Help build and maintain FAQ and knowledge documents that power AI-assisted response drafting
- Test AI tools and connectors (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM and similar) against real community management tasks and report back on what works
- Propose and prototype improvements to how community management gets executed — not just follow the process, but improve it
- Document any workflow you build so the rest of the team can use it
- Collaborate with our internal AI lead on rollouts that touch other parts of the agency

Data & Reporting

- Support monthly client reporting: pull performance data from Meta Business Suite and other native platform sources
- Organize that data into clean, structured spreadsheets that can be reused month over month
- Help move reporting away from manual assembly and toward AI-assisted, templated, or dashboard-based outputs
- QA data for accuracy and consistency before it reaches the Account Team or the client
- Flag patterns worth a closer look — engagement drops, recurring complaints, content that overperforms

Internal Coordination

- Attend Tuesday team meetings — both Community Managers overlap on Tuesdays so everyone stays connected
- Coordinate clean handoffs with the counterpart covering the remaining weekdays (Wednesday–Thursday)
- Support Social Media Coordinators and the Account Team with overflow tasks during quieter coverage periods
- Maintain internal task reports and keep process documentation current

Must-Have Skills

- Strong English communication, written and spoken
- Working comfort with spreadsheets — Google Sheets or Excel, including formulas and cleaning messy data
- Hands-on curiosity with AI tools, and the patience to test something until it works
- Sound judgment about what to answer, what to hide, and what to escalate

- Comfortable with Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Monday.com
- Availability to work a fixed part-time schedule of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, totaling 20 hours per week

Nice-to-Have

- Familiarity with AgoraPulse, Sprout Social, Air.inc, or similar social management platforms
- Meta Business Suite or native platform analytics experience
- Python, SQL, or any scripting or automation background
- Experience with APIs, connectors, or automation tools (Zapier, Make, MCP connectors, or similar)
- Data visualization or dashboard building (Looker Studio, Sheets dashboards, or similar)
- Proficiency or experience in Canva
- Interest in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands

Traits of a Great Fit

- When your queue is quiet, you ask for more — or you go find something worth improving
- You think outside the box and you're comfortable saying "I think there's a better way to do this"
- You stay level-headed when a comment is a complaint
- You're early in your career and treat that as an advantage, not a limitation
- You align with our company values: Play with Passion and a Positive Attitude
- Do Something Today to Be Better Today
- Continuously Exceed Expectations
- Listen Thoughtfully, Speak with Clarity
- Embrace Challenges with Resilience

Why Join Casual Fridays

- Be part of a remote-first team that values people and purpose
- Work with high-profile hospitality brands across the U.S. and beyond
- Build the systems rather than inherit them — this function is being brought in-house and shaped from the ground up
- Collaborate in a team that values clear communication and creative ownership
- Enjoy structured onboarding, bi-weekly 1:1s, and regular Zoom/Google Meet sessions
- A part-time schedule designed to fit around other commitments, without losing the consistency of a set weekly rhythm
