Lawfficiency is hiring an experienced Case Manager on behalf of a well-established California Personal Injury law firm. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy taking ownership of their cases, delivering exceptional client service, and ensuring every matter progresses efficiently from intake through settlement.

? Your Role

As a Case Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day progression of Personal Injury cases while serving as the primary liaison between clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and the legal team. Your ability to stay organized, anticipate next steps, and maintain accurate documentation will directly contribute to successful case outcomes.

? Key Responsibilities

? Case Management

Manage electronic case files, ensuring all information remains accurate, organized, and up to date throughout the life of each case.

Maintain calendars for statutes of limitations, follow-ups, medical appointments, and other critical deadlines.

? Medical & Case Documentation

Request, organize, and monitor medical records, medical bills, wage loss documentation, and supporting evidence.

Review, upload, index, and maintain all incoming documentation within the firm's case management system.

?️ Insurance Coordination

Verify insurance coverage, claim information, policy details, and adjuster contacts while maintaining consistent follow-up.

Communicate with insurance carriers and medical providers to obtain updates and move cases forward efficiently.

? Settlement Preparation





Assist in preparing settlement demand packages and supporting documentation.

Monitor treatment status and case milestones to ensure files are ready for negotiation and resolution.

? Client Communication

Schedule appointments and maintain professional, responsive communication with clients throughout the case.

Provide timely updates while ensuring every client interaction reflects professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.

✅ Qualifications

Required

2+ years of experience as a Case Manager in a Personal Injury law firm.

Strong knowledge of Personal Injury procedures, insurance claims, and medical documentation.

Experience using legal case management software.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Excellent written and spoken English.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
