About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a U.S.-based Estate Planning Law Firm. This role is adecuado for professionals with prior experience in the legal field who possess strong administrative, communication, and document management skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys and clients, assisting with estate planning matters such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain and organize client files and legal records using document management systems.
- Assist with estate planning documentation, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Coordinate attorney schedules,
client meetings, and appointments.
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email.
- Track deadlines and support case management activities.
- Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document organization.
- Review legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide administrative and executive support to attorneys.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with firm procedures.
Required Qualifications
- B2+ to C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) - Required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Case Manager, or similar legal support role.
- Previous experience working for a U.S.-based law firm is required.
