We're looking for a hands-on security professional to join our Web Security team, supporting the day-to-day operation of Akamai WAF (App & API Protector / Kona Site Defender) in production environments.
In this role, you'll be responsible for responding to security incidents, tuning WAF policies, managing edge security configurations, troubleshooting web application and API issues, and helping protect high-traffic ecommerce platforms.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with Akamai WAF (App & API Protector or Kona Site Defender).
- Experience supporting production environments.
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, WAF rule tuning, and incident response .
- Experience troubleshooting edge-to-origin connectivity and web security issues.
Please note: Direct experience with Akamai WAF is required for this role.
