We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Finance team. The adecuado candidate will have experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Payment Processing and will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial health by ensuring accurate payment identification, timely collections, and proper account reconciliation. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage collections activities and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.
- Identify and apply customer payments accurately within the accounting system.
- Review bank accounts to identify incoming payments and reconcile transactions.
- Contact customers to request payment information and resolve outstanding balances.
- Maintain and update customer accounts with payment details and contact information.
- Process and manage credit card payments while ensuring payment accuracy.
- Update financial records and payment information in NetSuite and other internal systems.
- Prepare reports and analyze collections, payment trends, and account status.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to support financial operations and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Perform additional Accounts Receivable and Finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payment Processing, or related Finance functions.
- Experience following up on outstanding balances and communicating with customers regarding payments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of financial data.
- Experience with account reconciliation and payment application is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with ERP or financial systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
- Experience using banking platforms or payment processing systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
