About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in reporting, analytics, and data validation to ensure the quality, accuracy, performance, and reliability of reporting systems and analytics platforms.

This role will focus on testing reporting dashboards, data warehouses, ETL processes, data pipelines, and analytics tools , combining manual and automated testing practices with strong data-quality validation.

Requisitos

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field .
- 6+ years of Quality Assurance experience , preferably focused on reporting and analytics systems.
- Strong experience testing reporting solutions within data warehouse environments such as Snowflake .
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline testing .
- Experience with performance testing involving large datasets .
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies .
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience querying relational databases.




- Previous experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development team .

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and automate test plans and test cases for reporting dashboards, analytics tools, data pipelines, and related systems.
- Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources, ETL processes, data warehouses, and visualization tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing , including testing with large datasets.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Software Developers to define and maintain quality standards for reporting and analytics products.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects using QA and defect-management tools.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations to improve system reliability, data quality, and user experience .
- Validate that reporting solutions meet business requirements and expected data behavior.
- Ensure testing practices follow industry standards and best practices for data security and quality .
- Contribute to QA activities within Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments .
