We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and support a leading client. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, supporting, and continuously improving complex operating system and infrastructure environments, ensuring high levels of system availability, performance, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Administer, support, and optimize complex cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including server environments, datacenter operations, virtualization, and system performance.
Provide advanced L2 troubleshooting and escalation support for complex technical issues, WAN/LAN connectivity, security, and infrastructure operations.
Lead technical solutions, migrations, and complex projects while conducting root cause analysis and implementing automation and performance improvements.
Design and maintain operating runbooks, server procedures,
and technical documentation to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
Manage ticket queues, prioritize incidents, and ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and operational processes.
Coach, mentor, and provide technical training to engineers while serving as a senior technical resource for the team.
Monitor team performance and capacity, preparing monthly analytics reports and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Partner with clients and internal teams to recommend infrastructure improvements, support solution opportunities, ensure compliance with Auxis operating processes, and stay current with emerging technologies.
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, or a related field.
Strong experience with: Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Entra ID, Linux environments, Virtualization technologies, Cloud technologies.
